In 2020, I began working as a long-term substitute in my district’s middle and high school Spanish dual-language and ESL program, a transformational experience which prompted me to go back to school to earn my license in teaching ESOL. Now, I am an ESOL teaching intern in an elementary and middle school, teaching PK-8th.
